Native to Zimbabwe, drawing from the age of 7, Nkosi has evolved into arguably Africa’s preeminent big game scrimshaw artist. A humble father of 5 who started out his scrimshaw art on other knife makers’ work. Soon realizing the potential and his God given talent, Nkosi developed into knifemaking itself. Designing and hand crafting his own range of fixed blades and folding knives, together with his world class Scrimshaw artwork, Nkosi earned membership to the prestigious Knifemaker’s Guild of Southern Africa - A combined talent seldom seen.
Using the best Austrian N690 stainless steel, every piece is accompanied with knife handle material that varies - mainly African game bone, horn, indigenous woods, ivory substitutes, G10, titanium and color resins.
